How We Use Your Information
Florida Landlord Network respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain language, what happens to information you submit through our website.

Cookies & Analytics
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for basic site functionality and to understand how visitors use our site (analytics). We do not use cookies to track you across other websites for advertising purposes.
Website Visitor Analytics
We use first-party analytics to understand how our website is used so we can improve our content and services. For each visit we may record:
- • A random anonymous visitor identifier and session identifier stored on your own device. These are never derived from your name, email address, phone number, or form contents.
- • Your IP address. A masked version is used for routine display; the full address is accessible only to site administrators and is automatically deleted after 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
- • Pages you view, time spent on pages, scroll depth, and how you move through our site.
- • The website or campaign that brought you here, including UTM parameters and advertising click identifiers when present in the link you followed.
- • Device type, browser, operating system, language, timezone, screen and viewport size, and light or dark color preference.
- • Approximate city, state, and country derived from your network connection when reliably available.
- • Certain interactions, such as starting a form, submitting a form, downloading a document, clicking a phone or email link, or opening chat. We do not record passwords, payment information, private messages, or the contents of form fields.
Retention: full IP addresses are automatically deleted after 30 days (the masked form is kept). Detailed visit records are retained for up to 13 months, after which they are automatically deleted.
Access: visitor analytics are visible only to site administrators. We do not use third-party browser fingerprinting, do not attempt to identify you personally, and do not sell or share this information.
If you voluntarily submit a form (for example an eviction request or a newsletter signup), that submission may be associated with your anonymous visitor record. Your earlier browsing activity remains visible only to site administrators.
Voluntary Sign-Ups & Identifying Information
- • Some features — our newsletter signup, our on-site updates invitation, live chat, gated document downloads, and eviction service requests — invite you to voluntarily provide your first name, email address, and optionally a phone number.
- • When you voluntarily submit that information, we connect it to your existing anonymous visitor record — the pages you viewed, how you found our site, and which campaign brought you here — starting from the moment you identify yourself.
- • We do not identify anonymous visitors. We never purchase identities, use reverse-IP identity services, browser fingerprinting, data brokers, or hidden data enrichment to guess who a visitor is. Visitors remain anonymous until they choose to identify themselves.
- • If the same email address is later submitted from a different device, we show our administrators a possible connection. We never automatically merge records or claim that the same person performed activity from another device.
- • The exact consent wording you agreed to, and the time you agreed to it, are recorded with your submission. Consent boxes are never preselected, and marketing text messages require separate express consent.
- • Identified lead information is visible only to site administrators, is never displayed publicly, and is never sold. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe method.
Email Campaign Activity
- • If you receive our newsletter, our email service provider reports engagement events back to us: deliveries, opens, clicks, bounces, spam complaints, and unsubscribes, along with the campaign name and time.
- • An email "open" is recorded when the email's tracking image loads. Email privacy software can load images automatically without a person intentionally opening the message, so we label these as "opens reported" and never treat an open as a website visit or proof of identity.
- • Clicks show stronger engagement than opens. Links in our campaigns may contain an opaque, signed token that identifies the campaign contact without exposing your email address or name in the URL. When you follow such a link to our website, we connect that website visit to your subscriber record with campaign attribution, and the token is removed from the visible address.
- • We never identify a website visitor from timing, an IP address, or an email-open event alone. Website association requires the cryptographic proof carried in the signed link.
- • Unsubscribe, bounce, and spam-complaint statuses are applied immediately and preserved — these contacts are not treated as active marketing prospects.
- • Campaign recipient activity is visible only to site administrators, is never displayed publicly, and is never sold.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will remove it.
