How to use: Use the search box to find a county, then click the county row to expand it — you'll see a list of fiscal years (FY 2019 through the current fiscal year). Click a year to reveal that year's Small Area Fair Market Rents (SAFMRs) by ZIP code, with rates for each bedroom size (0 = efficiency, through 4 bedrooms). SAFMRs apply only where the local housing authority uses them; everywhere else, the county-wide FMR applies. Counties without ZIP-level data rely on the county-wide FMR shown on the county row. Larger ZIP tables may take a moment to expand.

FY 2026 FMRs are effective October 1, 2025 (revised May 21, 2026 per 91 FR 21301). Figures represent 40th percentile gross rents (base rent + essential utilities) for standard quality units. ZIP-level figures are HUD's Small Area Fair Market Rents (SAFMRs), which apply only where the local public housing authority uses them.
